Some people try to develop character, but they have no foundation. And that foundation is Jesus Christ. Pray this prayer daily, "Lord, work in me, work on me, and work through me. Make me more like Jesus and let others see Jesus in me.”

Meet the Pastor
Orin D. Grant, Sr.
Rev. Grant travels as an itinerant minister teaching and preaching the gospel in and out of the state of Louisiana. His preaching motto is, “Don’t go everywhere preaching, if you’re not going to preach everywhere you go.” Rev. Grant is an adjunct professor and trustee board member at Union Baptist College Theological Seminary (UBCTS). Rev. Grant is the Executive Secretary of the Westside Missionary Baptist Association (WMBA), Assistant Recording Secretary of the Baptist Pastors Conference of Greater New Orleans and Vicinity (BPCGNOV), and the Executive Secretary of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) of Jefferson. Rev. Grant is a good standing member and an affiliate of the Louisiana Baptist State Convention, where he serves as Special Assistant to the President. Rev. Grant is also a member of the largest African-American religious organization in the United States of America, the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Rev. Grant is a dedicated advocate for church growth, discipleship, evangelism, outreach, and Christian education. Rev. Grant’s ultimate missionary goal is to reach the world with good news and good works.

We are told to go forth and to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of St. Paul Baptist Church is our mission to teach the people of the world. Spreading the love of Christ begins in our very own community and with the help of our members, spreads overseas to every nation.
Church members are involved in a variety ministry activities, from things as simple as washing the church vehicles, to preparing the church bulletins. If you want to get involved, we would love to have you as an active participant. Give us a call to find out more.

St. Paul Baptist Church is excited to take part in the spread of God’s word and kingdom throughout the world.
